World Leisure Journal is the official journal of the World Leisure Organization. Its main purpose is to stimulate and communicate research, theory, and critical thought in all areas that address leisure, including play, recreation, the arts and culture, sport, festivals, events and celebrations, health and fitness, and travel and tourism. The journal’s quality and impact was further acknowledged in 2016 with its acceptance into Scopus, the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature.
