The World Leisure Journal (WLJ), the official journal of the World Leisure Organization, invites applications from scholars interested in joining its Editorial Board.
WLJ is an international forum dedicated to advancing critical research and discussion on leisure and its contribution to quality of life, health, well-being, and social inclusion.
We are currently seeking six new members to join the Editorial Board. We welcome applications from scholars working in leisure studies and related fields. In line with the journal’s commitment to diversity and global representation, we particularly encourage applications from scholars who belong to historically underrepresented groups within academia and from those based in Africa, the Middle East in particular, but also in Latin America, Eastern Europe, or Asia.
Editorial Board members are expected to review approximately 2–3 manuscripts per year and attend two online Editorial Board meetings annually.
