Throughout
the world there has been an increasing sensitivity to
the importance effective and sustainable leisure programming.
Despite the forces of globalization, there remains the
need to respect cultural diversity, which in itself
can be a special strength in the creation of leisure
amenities and the mounting of leisure programs. By drawing
upon an international force of leisure professionals,
World Leisure is in a unique position to assist agencies
and organizations, public and private, with the creation
of leisure services and facilities which best balance
global and local circumstances. Thus, World Leisure
Professional Services offers a service to help achieve
such ends, within the context of World Leisure goals
generally. |
